We had some of the coldest weather ever on our intermediate course this weekend. Not enough to dampen our spirits though, getting a bit chilly was the perfect excuse to warm up with a coffee!
The intermediate course covers a bit of everything, panning, off camera flash and landscape photography.
First we practiced panning, our model, local cycling star Ann Bowditch did a great job cycling at different speeds. The force 6 up her bum one way helped (bit slow coming back mind).
Next we went into St Peter Port to look at some off camera flash with Eden. I love the off camera flash part, it’s great to be able to change a shot completely with a flashlight or two. The high street offered a bit of shelter and we kept moving to help keep warm.
After some welcome hot food we went down to the Hanois to have a look at some landscape photography. It’s great to see how much light is around when you take 30 second exposures half an hour after sunset!
Here’s a few pictures from Frank, James and Kevin.
