Sarah contacted Creative Photography requesting a one to one training course as she already had some experience and wanted to sharpen up her portrait photography. No problem! In no time I’d organised a bespoke day out, and, at Sarah’s request, found a male model for her to shoot.
After a couple of hours in the studio we headed out to the Guet and Grandes Rocque on the west coast of Guernsey to put Sarah’s new knowledge into practice! Looking for the right light is the most crucial part of photography, after all that is what we are recording. I mentioned that a couple of hours before sunset the light would start to improve and hey presto it didn’t disappoint!!
Matt (our model) is a good looking lad and has a rugged look which is why I picked the rocky backgrounds (he wasn’t keen on spring daffodils) for some of the shots.
