Heres’s a few pics from our advanced landscape course.
We started in the studio with a good chat about gear/technique then it was off out to Petit Port. For those of you who don’t know it, there are around 350 steps down to the beach. So many that often your legs hurt on the way down It was a great day for photography, nice moody clouds and plenty of different compositions.
The hard work of photographing was soon over and we started the fun part of climbing back up!
Next morning it was an early start and off the the bathing pools for a sunrise pic. We’d learned all about hyper focal focussing and calculating long exposure time pre dawn so there was no problem getting great pics every time. The exposure slider isn’t used in our courses, getting it right in camera is what it’s all about.
Wet feet are par for the course on decent landscape days and I managed some soggy socks, still, not long until we were tucking into a full English at the half moon cafe.
Back to the studio and we started processing, all in all a great couple of days photographing, thanks very much Steve and Bryan for coming
