You can’t beat a good bit of cake, and that is exactly what Sarah brought to the latest Creative Photography beginner course, some very tasty cup cakes!
Anyway, after drooling over them (so no one else would want to eat any) we got on with the business of learning how to use our cameras properly and more importantly how to look for the good light.
After the studio session, some cake and a tasty bar lunch at the Grande Mare we went up to the Guet for our portrait session. I was tempted to find somewhere slightly more sheltered but shivering is good for keeping everyone awake!
Our model Clarice did a great job and must have enjoyed it looking at the smiley pictures. The wind helped to give us the Vogue look……
We practiced many new and very simple techniques to give a everyone’s pictures a more professional look. Back at the studio we looked at some image editing techniques and have a well deserved cuppa!
Thanks to Jason, Layla, Rachel, Sam, Sarah, Tan, Lee and Rod for a thoroughly enjoyable day out.
