January is never the warmest month, a bit parky normally and Sunday was no different for the Creative Photography beginner photography course.
As usual we started in the studio with a talk on camera settings, operation and composition (coffee/biscuits) then went out for lunch. We could tell it was going to be a bit nippy so I decided we would go to town for our shoot. At least we could get out of the wind and see if we could stay warm.
You can see by the look on our model Eden’s face we failed to find any warmth, gloves were the order of the day
After our shoot we went back to the studio to have a review of the images and look at some image editing on Photoshop.
Thanks very much to Matt, Mart, Christine, Sascha, Iain and Karen for coming along, not only did they learn how to take pictures in manual mode but managed some excellent pictures in far from ideal conditions!
