We had to postpone the weekend course due to force 9-10 winds but they had calmed down a bit by Monday when I had a two day landscape course with Ben Chapple.
Ben is very knowledgable on the subject of photography so after a brief chat we went down to the beach at Moulin Huet to take some pictures. As we approached the left hand bay I spotted a bonus crab pot that had been washed up on the shore! Great for composition, a bit of foreground action is always good. We took some pictures concentrating on the movement of the waves as sunset neared. We shot until around 45 minutes after sunset when all the good light had gone.
The next day we went down to the foghorn at Jerbourg, it was a tough morning with constant spray having to be wiped from the lens, often these days produce good pictures and we managed to get some great pictures of the area, complete with the damaged railings/bridge from the recent storm.
After a cooked breakfast at the White Rock Cafe we went back to the studio and had a good look at the pictures on Lightroom. A few tweaks to some already great pictures produced shots worthy of hanging on the wall.
