Sunday saw another of Creative Photography’s beginner courses! The best time to enroll is at beginner level when you can start the right way without learning bad habits. It is so easy to learn how to set your camera up and use it to take excellent pictures in just a matter of hours. You wouldn’t jump in a car and try and drive it for the first time without lessons! Cameras are no different.
It was a great day with Chris, Nikita, Ashley, Jan, Maria and Dan, all keen to learn and have a lot of fun during the day! After the classroom discussions we went out to the Guet to put into practice the simple techniques needed to take good pictures! We have a walk around looking for good light and shooting various scenes and seeing if we can get Shanine to smile (we managed at least one!) before popping back to the studio for a review of the images.
The group took some fantastic images, this is the first time most had used manual mode and found out not only is it not scary but it is the easiest way of taking the pictures YOU want by taking control!! Now practice, practice and more practice before the intermediate level!
