On Sunday we held an introduction course for the sports and social members at Intertrust. We went through all the basics of what goes into a good picture and how the camera is not so important. We looked at two near identical pictures taken with a £20,000 camera and a £200 camera and there wasn’t much to choose between the two. There were plenty of point and shoot style cameras along and they took some great pictures.
After a talk at our studio we went to Candie Gardens to practice a few techniques. The weather was a little on the changable side to say the least but it stopped for long enough for us to take some pictures of Shanine and also of the flowers around the gardens. We used various reflectors to add light or shade the subjects, all good fun and food for thought.
Talking of food, we finished at the studio with coffee, biscuits and processing using some of our computers.
Thanks very much for coming down, It was a lot of fun
Here’s a small selection of the pictures taken.
