What a day! Sparkly shoes, warm summer evenings and some great family and friends! When we at Creative Photography first met Ben and Chrissy to discuss their wedding plans it was clear they were both soooo excited on the photography! We went to their favourite area around Grande Havre for their engagement shoot which was also to feature on their wedding day.
The Ceremony took place at the Salvation Army Hall at L’Islet. The inside was perfect for a great atmosphere with amazing acoustics which did both the band and the colourful choir justice. After leaving we went to Grande Havre for some lovely pictures in the summer flowers, the weather was perfect with blue skies and just a few clouds.
The reception took place at the recently refurbished La Trelade Hotel and after some great speeches we ventured out for our second shoot of the day! The evening light was just about right for some warm summer pictures in the fields of Torteval. We finished off at the Little Chapel (Chrissy now being a little Chapple) in and around the fields.
After a fight between the women (also known as throwing the bouquet), the evening kicked off with the first dance, and Ben having recently competed in Guernsey’s Dancefloor Challenge it was a surely going to be worth watching! It was superb, well worth the hours of practice and a perfect way to begin married life.
Thanks for asking us Ben and Chrissy, we had nearly as much fun as you did!
