We at Creative Photography love a Herm wedding, It’s hard to beat the island paradise and it can be an extra treat for the family and friends who came over from the UK. We were excited enough to be photographing the wedding of Chris and Cerisse, being in Herm was just an added bonus!!
Bridal preparation was quiet and relaxed with just Cerisse and her parents (and the fish) at home. There was plenty of time to photograph the details and Ally had a slight case of envy when she spotted Cerisse’s Valentino shoes. It’s the small touches that often make a big impact and the groomsmen had their red and white striped socks as Chris is a Southampton fan.
The ceremony took place at St James then it was off to the boat for the trip to Herm. The sea was calm enough for a trip round the back of the island to Belvoir Bay and some pictures before making it’s way back round to the harbour.
We took some pictures of the happy couple inside the White House as the showers were doing a good job of keeping the dust down. We took the brollies out for our planned shoot at Shell Beach, but as luck would have it (actually we’d booked sun for 7pm) the skies cleared allowing us to take some stunning pictures of Chris and Cerisse, we even found a use for the brollies!
Back at the marquee it was time to party! And what a party, the dance floor was full until past 11pm
