Matt and Dids live in France for most of the year but decided to get married here in Guernsey! Fun was the order of the day and as you can see by the pictures there was plenty of laughter!
After some relaxed preparation (for relaxed see the pics of strawberry’s and champagne!!) the ceremony took place at St Saviours Church, a fantastic venue with some of the finest stained glass in the Channel Islands. A very moving ceremony I’m sure everyone will agree! We went off to the Reservoir for some relaxed and fun pictures before heading off to the reception.
After some group photographs at the Farmhouse it was time for the speeches. The reception Matt received was amazing, he had to wait a couple of minutes for the noise to die down before he could begin! Their cake was a work of art, incorporating the French and Guernsey flags and a mini Matt and Dids on top. It seemed a shame to eat it!
With the light fading we took them both to Corbierre a few sunset pictures and the light was fantastic, adding to the great atmosphere.
Congratulations Matt and Dids, we wish you all the best in your future together!
