It’s fair to say that Mel and Jon had a good laugh! As you can see from the pictures it was fun pretty much from the off.
Mel was brought to church in a fantastic white horse drawn carriage. We took them to the Guet for a few pictures after the ceremony and conditions were perfect with a bit of dappled sunlight shining through the canopy lighting up the happy couple perfectly.
After a lengthy ride in the wedding carriage Mel and Jon were dropped off at the reception for what turned out to be a great afternoon. The first dance traditionally kicks off the evening dance but not this time! The lawn at the back of the Grande Mare was used for the dance, and of course, more than a few choruses of song from the party!
We took Mel and Jon down to the beach at Vazon for a few pictures near sunset and seeing the puddle left by the tide it was time for some in camera trickery. The image of the happy couple reflected in the water is one of our favorites from the day, we love to use a bit of creative direction when we can.
Back at the reception it was time for the dancing! As you can see there wasn’t much space left on the dance floor (or any Jager at the bar).
Thanks for a great day out, we wish you all the best for the future together.
