Twas nearly Christmas but Creative Photography were definitely not winding down, not with Fi and Sam’s wedding to photograph. What a fantastic time of year to get married, wonderful light, toasty fires, Christmas decorations and…….SNOW :o) Fi and Nikki walked, well probably slid, into town to the hair God Nathan of Thomas and Miles, or as we prefer to call it Thomas and Smiles, because that’s the effect it had on Fi!
Back home to Burnt Lane for a fabulous brunch where Fi had organised the make up and hair for the bridal party (well except for Dad) and Ally made the most of the snow covered vista so rarely seen in Guernsey. The moment of the morning though was Fi’s Dad’s face as she walked down the stairs, these moments are priceless.
As you can see Sam made short work of directing his groomsmen in the art of applying ribbons to wedding cars, this was of course after the customary “light” groomsmen’s breakfast courtesy of Dix Neuf….
On to the St Martin’s church for the ceremony where one of the many highlights was the beautiful harp music, at Christmas time this was a magical touch. Fi and Sam looked so happy, they really are a match made in heaven. The Old Government House Hotel was the venue for the reception beautifully decorated in Fi’s favourite colour purple. One of their lovely personal touches was to choose a new wedding scent for eachother which is a lovely way of being reminded of your wedding day each time you wear that scent. Not one’s to miss a thing Creative Photography made the most of the opportunity to take a shot of Mr Hugo Boss which featured large in Fi and Sam’s wedding album.
Fi and Sam you were delightful and we wish you all the love and luck in the world x
